WHere is an easy interpretation of a beverage found on the seasonal cocktail list. Designed as a party-sized prepared mix that is loaded with tastes of the festive period, rendering it excellent for hosting a holiday party. Any leftover citrus syrup to use in brunch beverages, desserts, or to make more rounds of the drink.

Makes enough for 10 people
Ingredients for the Clementine Syrup (yields 750ml)
300ml newly squeezed clementine juice
200ml newly squeezed lemon juice
500g fine sugar
For the Cocktail (yields 850ml, to serve 10)
400ml premium vodka
100ml London dry gin
150ml peach liqueur
200ml clementine cordial (see above)
A few cranberries, as a garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Instructions
For the Cordial: Put all the items in a pan, heat until it reaches a light boil, agitating to dissolve. Next, take off the stove and let it to cool down fully. Transfer into an sterilised bottle, cap it and store chilled, where it will keep for about a month.
For the Premix: Combine the specified liquids into one sizeable container, let it rest for 60 minutes, then filter it , ideally through muslin, to ensure it's completely strained.
When ready to serve: Measure 85ml from the premix into a mixing glass filled with ice, and stir lightly for about 60 seconds to cool it down. Filter into an cold coupe glass or a similar vessel, top with the cranberries adding the final touch by giving it a quick spritz of the essential oil over the drink.
